Keeping In Touch...

Tried using a blog as the centre of a presentation at SFEU Communities of Practice event (16 may 2007), mostly because I don't like Powerpoint much (Powerpointless as Alan November described it). It made it much more difficult to remember points as I went along, but has the advantage that more information is left in the final product, compared to the list of bullet points you usually leave with PPT.

We use a texting service at Perth College, which has been extremely useful for the library, and I wouldn't like to be without it. Like many other places, we'll probably have a look at Janet txt which seems cheap to set up and run.

The presentation can be seen HERE.
